Poetic, fairy-tale-like, and stimulating illustrations by Marit Törnqvist
From November 30, 2025, Museum Kranenburgh will host an exhibition featuring works from the oeuvre of Marit Törnqvist. The exhibition will showcase drawings created by Marit Törnqvist (Sweden, 1964) during her 37-year career as an artist. The illustrations are poetic, fairy-tale-like, and stimulate the imagination.
Due to her unique and dreamlike visual language with which she addresses major themes, Törnqvist’s work is ideal for an educational exhibition for all ages. The exhibition will focus on the illustrator’s working methods, among other things by inviting the public to draw along with her.
