Museum Kranenburgh, founded in 1993, expanded in 2013 with a large new wing designed by architect Dirk Jan Postel. The museum is renowned for its collection of key works from the Bergen School and its iconic sculpture garden featuring works by modern and contemporary artists. In addition to its own collection, the exhibition program also features substantial work by other modern and contemporary artists.
The Kranenburgh organization is also responsible for the historical museum Het Sterkenhuis.
The driving force behind Museum Kranenburgh and Het Sterkenhuis is an enthusiastic team of staff, supported by dedicated volunteers with a passion for art and culture.
