Artist Lara Schnitger and Annet Gelink Gallery are donating the work “Who Saves Who?”, created by Schnitger in 2024 for her solo exhibition, Stitch Witch, to Museum Kranenburgh. With this work—depicting a primal woman who represents the giving and protection of life—Schnitger established a direct connection with the museum’s natural environment. Simultaneously, she explores ideas surrounding ecofeminism and modern witchcraft. Director Adriana Gonzalez Hulshof: “We are very grateful to the artist and the gallery for this donation. The installation is an important, in-depth addition to the part of our museum collection through which we invite the public to reflect on current and urgent social issues.”
